Kangan Ghat is situated on the banks of the river Ganges, a short distance from Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib in Patna. There is a belief about this ghat that the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, used to play here with classmates during his childhood and in the meantime, the gold bangle worn in his hand fell in the river.
Kangan Ghat is associated with the reverence of the Sikh sect. The atmosphere here is absolutely serene and it is one of the most famous places in Patna City. People often come here to spend time with their family, which in itself provides a pleasant feeling. Crowds are often seen here in the evening. If you come to visit Gurudwara Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib, then definitely visit Kangan Ghat.
