Bihar Tourism Reel Making Contest 

Introduction

Bihar Tourism intends to organize an online “Reel Making Contest” and invites people across India to Participate in this Contest.

Timeline:

starting from: 1st September 2023

Last date: 15th September 2023

Result declaration: Results to be announced by Department of Tourism (Govt. of Bihar)

Terms and Conditions:

1. Indian citizens of any age can participate in this competition & and the participation fee is free. The competition will be running from 1 st Sept to 15th Sept 2023. Entries between the mentioned dates will only be considered valid.
2. Individuals who desire to participate should provide his/her name, affiliations (if applicable), date of birth, correspondence address, email address, and mobile number. A valid ID proof is must to submit along with entries. (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, etc.) Contestant’s age should be a minimum 12 years.
3. Multiple reels/Videos are allowed. Department to select the best reels/videos of the contestant with multiple entries
4. The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The Department of Tourism does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
5. The reels should be shot in HD Standard having a pixelappropriate size within the limit of a Minimum of 10 MB to a Maximum of 100 MB.
6. Video should not be of less than 10 Sec and more than 60 Sec. 
7. File should look clean when viewed on-screen at 100%. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats, while submitting, participants must provide a title with a detailed description of reels in English or Hindi in a maximum of 50 words.
8. The Video should not be displayed in any publication, online sites, or social media. Video/Reels must be related to Tourist Places of Bihar, the Food of Bihar, the Statue of Bihar, the Museum of Bihar, the Parks of Bihar, the Infrastructure of Bihar, the Historical Heritage of Bihar, and others.
9. Any dispute or any issue related to this competition will be decided by the Dept. of Tourism, which will be final and binding. All Decisions related to this competition, or any dispute related to this competition, Decisions of the Department of Tourism will be final.
10. It would be the responsibility of the participants/applicants to keep themselves informed about any changes in the Terms & Conditions or Criteria stated for this contest.
11. The Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar will have the right to use the videos including uploading these on its website/social media for awareness purposes, as it may deem fit & and accurate by the judging panel. All entries will be the property of the Department of Tourism whether you are awarded any prize or not.
12. By submitting the reels, you hereby grant and assign an irrevocable, perpetual, unlimited, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of the submitted Video/reel in all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose including commercial purpose without any reference to you.
13. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The Government of Bihar does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.

15. The employees and wards of the Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar and Employment or its attached offices, or autonomous organizations/institutions working overall administrative controls Department of Tourism not allowed to take part in this Contest. 
16.  Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar has complete rights to take any decision for change in terms and conditions, hold or cancel the campaign without stating any reason for it.
17. Video should not contain any vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, libelous, offensive, anti-national, anti-social, hateful, discriminatory, objectionable with respect to race, religion, creed, national origin, or gender, or otherwise violates any law.
18.  Also video should not contain any type of logo watermark or personal appearance. If found it will be summarily rejected.
19. Reel should not contain any content that infringes or may infringe any thirdparty rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or proprietary rights of any individual or group.
20. By submitting the reels, you hereby understand and agree that you are solely and fully responsible for any and all aspects of the Content submitted, and we are not liable in any way for such Content, reel, video, or part of it or for any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use or dissemination of any reel/video submitted in this contest
21. Contestant must fill their entries through the shared Form and must accept the Declaration mentioned in the Form.

Reward and Recognition:

Prize winning Contestant will be Awarded with Appreciation Certificate + Memento + Will be Mentioned on Social Media.

Prize Money –

First prize: ₹ 100,000

Second prize: ₹ 50,000

Third prize: ₹ 25,000

Consolation Prizes for the 10 best Contestants apart from the Top 3 winners. ₹10,000
