St. Mary’s Church, a red-bricked Gothic structure with arched windows and doors, is located near Ramna Maidan, a famous landmark in Arrah.
The church was constructed in memory of the British soldiers of the Arrah Garrison who died during the 1857 revolt. Inside the church, there are plaques which list the names of the deceased soldiers and carry memorial messages. Although the church does show a few signs of aging, it is nevertheless remarkably well-preserved and is still functional, with a mass every Sunday from 9.00 am onwards.
