The Mukhyamantri Homestay Protsahan Yojana 2026. is an initiative to promote community-based tourism by enabling residents to offer accommodation to tourists within their homes. The policy encourages local participation in tourism, provides visitors with authentic cultural experiences, and increases accommodation capacity in tourist destinations. Registered homestays are recognized by the government and promoted through official tourism platforms, ensuring minimum standards of safety, hygiene, and hospitality.

^{The applicant shall submit the following required documents and the online application form through the online portal:}

(a) The applicant shall duly fill in the online application form and upload it on the portal along with all the prescribed supporting documents.

(b) Copy of the Property Ownership Proof (Registered Sale Deed / Lease Deed).

(c) Route Map showing the approach from the main road to the Homestay.

(d) Photographs of the Homestay, including the front view, interior areas, all rooms, dining area, and other available facilities, or a copy of the proposed design/layout.

(e) Applicant's:

• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card
• Passport-size Photograph
• Cancelled Cheque of the Aadhaar-linked Bank Account

(f) Any other documents as may be prescribed by the Department of Tourism from time to time.
