The Navlakha temple, also known as Charitravan Baikunth, is one of the most famous temples of Buxar.
Its structure is highly influenced by the temple architecture of South India. According to folklore, Lord Rama (of the epic Ramayana) completed his studies under sage Vishwamitra in Charitravan, where the temple is located.
