    A famous temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita makes this place popular among followers.

    This holy site is situated at Ahiari village under the Jale block, 20 km from Darbhanga town.

    Ahilya Sthaan is revered with mythological significance that Ahilya was great saint Gautam’s wife. She was cursed to become a stone statue, but was brought back to life after Lord Rama, who happened to pass through the village, touched the statue.
