There are many such forts in the world, which have many secrets within themselves. The 'Fort of Shergarh' is one such fort located in the Rohtas district of Bihar. Built between 1540 and 1545, this fort, located on the hills of Kaimur, is unlike any other fort. Surrounded by forests on three sides, and the river Durgavati on one side, the fort is strategically built in such a way that it is not visible to anyone from outside. There are hundreds of tunnels and basements in this fort, and no one knows where they lead to. To get inside the fort, one must first pass through a tunnel that will transport you back in time. When the tunnels are closed, the fort is no longer visible to anyone. Sher Shah Suri is said to have built this fort to escape his enemies and lived here with his family and soldiers. It is said that only Sher Shah Suri and his trusted soldiers knew the secret of these tunnels. One of the tunnels also leads to the Rohtas Garh Fort. This marvelous fort depicts glorious history. People fond of ancient architecture and history must explore this place
